Abstract

In these remarks I relate to some such cases of making of the standards of rationality in which however the sacred and the profane sphere is being differentiated and even under some circumstances they are contradictory, but under other they are and should be treated as complementary. Such a complementation was and is being described and explained by philosophers (such as those in the ancient period as Plato, and now by Alasdair MacIntyre and Charles Taylor) as well by Christian theologians (such as those in the Middle Ages like St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, Master Eckhart, and in later period Rudolf Otto).
