Najczęściej cytowani farmakolodzy, fizjolodzy i patofizjolodzy w Polsce

Abstrakt

On the request of the Committee on Physiological and Pharmacological Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the lists of the most frequently cited Polish pharmacologists, physiologists and pathophysiologists were compiled. The first list included the years from 1945 to 2014 and the second one the last 15 years (2000 to 2014). The number of publications, the Hirsh index, and the number of papers cited more than 100 times were also shown. To be placed on the first list the person should be cited more than 1000 times and/or have the H index ≥ 15, 116 such scientist were identified. To be placed on the second list, the person should be cited more than 500 times and/or have the H index ≥ 10; 138 such scientists were identified. The names of deceased scientists and Polish scientists working abroad were also included. If other the Committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences followed that example, the potential of the science in Poland could be compared and evaluated.
